Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

help me find or answer wheel ? please

I have an olds trek 7300 blue (don't know what year do you? maybe 6 years old no suspension i.e. before they did front suspension.

My real ? is= I am 240 and going down (hopefully) but I need an aforfable and durable wheel set. Do they make them for the 700cx 35 size. I think that's what I have. I wasn't sure where to look for the right size. I know it's not a road wheel but? You get my point. Sorry but I haven't been able to forum search sueessfully. They all seem like road rims and really expensive. Thanks/

If you want a good durable reliable set of wheels for a hybrid I highly suggest you look into getting a set custom made by your local bike shop or one of the many great wheel builders on the net. I had my LBS build me a set for my commuter that consists of Shimano 105 32 hole hubs and Salsa DelgadoX rims laced 3x with 14/15 double butted spokes. These wheels have been great and I am sure they will be for quite some time. You want to look for a touring, CX or 29er rim IMO.

Here are some options but there are others: Salsa Delgado Cross (scroll down)
Mavic A719
Velocity dyad
