Here is my Buenos Aires that I bought as a frame only from CL (very good deal), I know the stem is really short but I'm older now and it works for me. I really like the feel of this bike.

Hmm,old thread but I'll play:
As purchased:

Moded with new tires and Brooks saddle:

It now has some new white bar tape, a Selle saddle, Williams System 30 wheels and 700 x 25c GP 4000 s tires but no new pictures. It's not seeing much use lately since I now have a Kona Jake the Snake to use as a bad weather backup to the CF and I am debating selling both the LeMond and the Schwinn Circuit. I just have a hard time doing it since the LeMond gives me such a sweet ride each time I get on it.

Here's my 1990 steel Team Z bike, built by Roland Della Santa.
Built up with Campagnolo Omega wheels, the Delta brakes, Croce d'Aune crankset, Record front derailleur, Record OR rear derailleur, Athena cassette 7 speed hubs (the very first cassette hubs!), Record headset, Record Syncro II shifters, Campagonolo Ergal sprockets, Campagonolo Powergrade brake levers, Record seat post, 3TTT stem and bar.
Not periode correct are the Look Keo Max 2 pedals and the Vittorio Open Corsa Evo SC tires (though they look like the ones from the period) and Campagnolo 9 sdp chain.

Here's some more eye candy ;-) The frame was stamped DS and has the number 021 engraved (also on the steerer of the fork).
Fork crown and brake bridge are typical for a Della Santa frame. The picture of the bottom bracket with DS stamp isn't very sharp but this is what I've got.
