Tour of California - SLO to SB stage info
been checking for more detailed info on the Stage 'into' SB.
The Santa Barbara Newspress had a frontpage article today with particulars on the roads to be used from SB County Line (coming thru Guadalupe) to the day's finish.

Not sure what it looks like from SLO to the Guadalupe area.
coming down from Guadalupe over Foxen Cyn road will be a quite flat course. The climb up San Marcos pass is of some length, but very gradual grades, so I don't expect much. Prolly depends a lot on what the standings will be when they hit the area to determine if there's any attackin action.
The run over San Mrcos pass should afford some good viewing, and given some 'mobility' the course into town (SB) should allow some multiple viewing points.
The Finish should be 'hairball'! Coming DOWN Shoreline dr. to a finish in front of 'Sambos' - a downhill run just before the finish should make for some 45mph massive sprint action!
Then everyone can break to the RoCo for some post race chitchat - and MAX-POSEUR-age
