White Industries Hubs??
Can anyone tell me about these hubs? I am looking at buying a pair of wheels and they put these on them and I am not familiar with the brand...

Nice beefy looking but lightweight hubs.. I have had a set of wheels with them for a couple of years, absolutely trouble free..

No actual experience with them, but they are quite strikingly beautiful.

Light, strong and attractive. I have LTA front and RacerX (mtb) rear on my road wheel build. The freewheel is noisy, similar to Chris Kings. My riding partners always know I am behind them if I'm coasting.
I think they have redesigned them, so maybe they are quiet now.

Got 'em on my mountain bike (1994) - they've been both completely bombproof and beautiful. I've 'out-coasted' other riders. A plus is that you won't see them all over the place.

Very nice hubs, and a little different to the usual stuff. I have a pair built by John Kovacchi with Aerohead rims.
The freehub is Ti so no rust problems. They are a bit on the loud side, a solid clunk-clunk (I think this is a properly of Ti freehubs as my Hope Ti XC hubs are the same) as opposed to the giant zip-tie sound of a Chris King.
They look lovely in plain silver, so keep em like that if you can. I had mine anodised black and it was a heartbreaker as they look somewhat unspectacular in black, but my bike would have looked weird with a silver wheelset.

Just had a MTB set built up around their disk MTB hubs; haven't ridden them yet, but I'm pumped nonetheless. I've got a set of Rolfs with White Industries hubs, though, and they're great so far. I'll get more miles on them this year, but they served me very well last year for a few rides.

I've had the Ti Racers on my MTB for years. They are easy to service and look really nice. They spin smoothly and are lighter than majority of alternatives.
Beautiful pieces of work.

I've got White LTAs on my Dave Thomas Speed Dream wheels with Velocity Escape rims (tubulars). Love 'em ! Very solid, roll really smooth. They use 2 precision bearings (Enduro 6902) for the hub shell, and 3 precision bearings (6802/6902) for the driver (freehub) which is 6/4 titanium. High tech, high quality, highly recommended.
