Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

OCP T-Shirts?

If you guys are interested. I would like to get some of these made up. We can choose the logo, shirt color, slogan and additional copy. I would like to put the Bike Forums logo on them.

Roughly the shirts will cost $5 for white with 4 color 1 side and 1 color the other. $6.50 for black in the same configuration.

I would like to charge $10 or $15 dollars per shirt and split the profit between the Forum and my MS150 entry.

I would need the OCP logo from the creative folks that designed it. File requirements can be worked out later.

If there is interest I will coordinate this. All input is welcome.

Don't get me wrong, I'm as OCP as it gets. But the movement is hibernating at the moment.

Maybe a bikeforums.net version? I'm sure you'd need permission from Joe.

T-Shirt?
(Gasp)

Aren't those the things worn by people on the other side?

Now, perhaps a nice wind vest to wear on rides....now we're talkin'!

Dead?

It's as dead as Howard Dean's presidential campaign....
It's as dead as the VHS tape....
It's as dead as the fully-carpeted van with a teardrop window...
It's as dead as the hoola-hoop....
It's as dead as SNL's skits....
It's as dead as Howard Stern's broadcasting career....
It's as dead as spider helmets....
It's as dead as the guy in the 'Time to make the donuts" commercial....
It's as dead as ....
.....oh, wait a minute....all those things really are dead....I did this wrong

It's a classic line from Animal House. Should have used quotes.

just checking.

I've heard worse from people, like the answer to the question "Who was the first man to walk on the moon?" and the answer was "uh, I think it was Lance Armstrong."

You got that right!

I'd love to have an OCP jersey with the Aluminum OCP badge across the back and a small one on the left front like a badge. A badge of honor.

Of course, my LBS would think the OCP stands for Obsessive/Compulsive Purchaser.
