Very misleading ebay listing

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Very misleading ebay listing

I've seen several listings from this seller lately on ebay. I have to admit the title is extremely misleading.https://cgi.ebay.com/NOS-NEW-Vintage-...QQcmdZViewItem

This auction is not for C Record parts. It's actually Campy's bottom of barrel group. Do sellers think everyone is really that stupid?

there's a link at the bottom of this URL for reporting keyword spam... such as auctions selling:

"blah blah bar tape and bottle cage, NOT dura ace"

https://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/keyword-spam.html

Keyword spamming occurs when members place brand names or other inappropriate keywords in a title or description for the purpose of gaining attention or diverting members to a listing. Keyword spamming in listings is not permitted on eBay. The text sellers place in listings must be directly relevant to the item being sold.

Violations of this policy may result in a range of actions, including:

*

Listing cancellation
*

Limits on account privileges
*

Account suspension
*

Forfeit of eBay fees on cancelled listings
*

Loss of PowerSeller status

I've reported more of these sellers in the last year than I can count. Usually the listing is canned only to reappear in a few weeks. I like ebay but it's all about money unfortunatley.

well the title says "c record era" which it is.
he then goes on to list everything as victory.
he's hooking everyone looking for c record.
is it keyword spamming? maybe.
will a collector (or someone looking for c record) know
the difference? you betcha.

You lost me on this statement. What else could ebay possibly be about except MONEY? Family, friends, love...no, it's MONEY and money only!

I wasn't refering to the quality of the merchandise or shipping practices, which is what almost all the negatives are about. I was talking about the title. It's like the auctions for a Record group with one Record part.
