Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

New handlebar Stem

Hey all! it has been a while since my last post, but I have not been riding too much, crappy weather and LOTS of bike problems...that is a story for later. ANYWAYS, I need to put a little length on my handlebar stem, and im not sure how to do it. I was thinking about getting a simple straight stem, and then the part that actually holds the handlebars in place. This way, I can control the length vertically and horizontaly. BUT, I'm not sure how stable this is or if there is a better way. Right now the horizontal length is a little too much and im bending forward too far. Any an all ideas or product suggestions would be of great help! Thanks much!!
