Yes, I bought the LS Ultimate Gravel because it's made in the US and I didn't want to support Taiwan which is where all of my carbon bike frames are made (Pinarello, Canyon, and Lauf). Plus the fact that all these companies are from other countries: Italy, Germany, and Iceland.

I also went through original and replacement decals from Litespeed on my 2004 Firenze. I just talked with SSSInk who makes the decals and was told Litespeed got away from the large panel decals due to the failures but if your clear coat over the decal and when applying use only water to clean the tubing they will last as long as any other decal. I hope they are correct as the third will be my last LS decals.

I never bothered trying to get original decals.
I figured that it is titanium, ultimate utilitarian frame material, not sure much need to keep it looking sharp,
just ride it and put it away set & dirty. 17+ years old and still the same magic carpet ride, money well spent; likely keep riding until I can't pedal anymore.
That's the beauty of titanium, I'm thankful for its minimal maintenance required to operate; leaves me more time to ride instead.

Did you get your replacement decals from SSSink? Were they ok? My 04 Litespeed’s seat tube decal is a mess. I made the mistake of clamping the seat tube instead of the seat post. I like my bikes to not only ride well, but look good too.

Yes, SSSink replaced the second set as it was less than a year old and totally cracked; they supplied the originals and still do all LS decals. I have installed a lot of decals so did not read the directions and am sure I used alcohol as a last step to clean the tubes which SSSink said is a no no. The new ones look great but it has only been a couple of months and I have not clear coated them as suggested. The tech help line at LS is good they got me in touch with the right guy at SSSink.

Ordered a Moots Disc RSL Vamoots with anodized gold labels in late October. No decals or paint on the bike frame, but the Enve wheels will have matching gold decals. I can't wait for my April- May delivery.

6-7 month delivery? No way; I can't wait 6-7 months for a bike.

I ordered a Litespeed Ultimate Gravel Di2 Ultegra with upgraded HED carbon wheels and a T47 threaded BB last month. Should get here in a few weeks.

My Lynskey came in 12/02/21, order placed 11/05/21. The product is actually very nice glad I went with Di2, need to put in some miles but from what I have noticed the various shifting modes can be very intuitive depending on terrain. My initial impression is the bike is very industrial, business like.

What I really like is the Garmin Edge 830, Di2, integration, no more looking back at the cassette or chain ring (D-fly module). I know that's not really something reflective of the actual bike frame but its part of the final build.

Cadence sensor, has little clearance between the chainstay and and left crank arm but, if moved all the way up toward the BB it works.

A special thanks to Rick,Texbiker.net for his YT channel and content, specifically on this bike in a real used scenario and 1lieutenant for posting pictures and his story, I even asked to have lynskey mod my frame the same as his by routing the hydraulic lines through the frame but they wanted 660 bucks, too costly for just aesthetics.

So,far only a small little shakedown ride 20miler, The fixing bolt on the Lynskey seat post to saddle loosened and the stem top cap also loosened, which is odd since they were both secured and torqued.

I'm definitely smiling, its a nice bike for sure.

Bike looks fantastic! Maybe a bit of loctite would help with the loosening bolts.

I forgot about the Di2 little battery box on the handlebar. My road bike has Di2 and the battery must be in the seatpost because I don't see it. I think my upcoming Litespeed also has the Di2 battery in the seatpost which is what I prefer.

Thanks cj3209 appreciate it. The component under the stem is a (3 port) Junction box A SM-EW90. Gets its power from the battery in the seat post. Your road bike depending how old it is might have a EW-RS910 in the handle bar. One suggestion, If you want Bluetooth and ANT+ com with your head unit like Garmin,wahoo,then you might want to start looking for a Shimano wireless module P/N EW-WU111 they are getting very scarce at the moment.

When I spoke to Lynskey and placed the order I asked about the junction box A and the D-fly module. Could I pay extra for the in handlebar junction box and the D-fly., they said they don't do either because the handlebars don't come with holes in them. Maybe later on I can upgrade the bars and incorporate the junction box.

Does it do anything a Karate Monkey wouldn't do for a lot less? Absolutely not. But it's shiny af and it makes me want to ride every damn day. Plus, I only turn 50 once, and it's a lot cheaper than a Ferrari or a divorce!

I have the EW-RS910 on my down tube-I forgot. This probably connects to a battery on my seat post.

I have a feeling my Litespeed bike will have the Junction box A SM-EW90 on my handlebar, just like yours. Oh, well.

'03 Litespeed Classic
Bought this a few days ago from a forum member and threw on pedals and a saddle to figure out if it will be a keeper. I hope it is, but I think it will ultimately be a bit too short. It's shorter than my main road bike that is a proper fit and slightly lower than my backup road bike too.
For now it'll live on the trainer for zwift so I can figure out how it feels.

If I keep it, new tires and saddle will get slapped on for sure.

Here’s my late 90’s GT Edge. Ultegra 8 speed. I just put the tri spokes on for the pic. The tires are dry rotted so these haven’t been ridden in years.

I just picked up a 1995 Litespeed Ultimate from Ebay. It will require a complete rebuild, but the frame and fork are in great condition! I just have to figure out whether to build it the way I dreamed of back in the 90s, or a more modern build, since the frame is kind of timeless. While I decide, I've got bits enough to make a useful, fun bike out of it while I accumulate the bits...

I've stripped the decals, which were from a later era, and I've got a new set from Litespeed to go on.

Can you provide any update on ride quality/impressions? I got the green light from the wife to spend part of my children's inheritance (got to double the bike cost since she'll spend equal on designer bags) and I'm trying to figure out which Ti bike I go with. Not sure if I need to spend $13k on a fully loaded Moots vs $7-8 on a similar Ti bike.

Update on the 1995 Ultimate above - I built it out as the bike I lusted after back in the 90s - 7410 Dura Ace, the last of the 8 speed DA, the first generation of STIs, and the gorgeous 7410 crankset, which to my eye is the prettiest crankset ever made! I discovered that, because Litespeed had curved the seat tube to allow shorter chainstays, the actual angle of the seat tube is a lot slacker than the 73 degrees you get by measuring from center of BB to center of seat cluster, which meant that I had to get a zero setback seatpost and STILL slide the saddle all the way forward in the clamp. I kept the Chorus headset, because it's there, and it's pretty, and it works. I added a Nitto Dynamic stem and Soma Highway One bar. Also, what looks like, but really isn't a matched wheelset. But they look good together and roll great! So far I've got just over 200 miles on it, and I'm loving it! Long term, I might swap out the 27 year old Dura Ace for something more modern, with more speeds and a wider range of gears than the 12-25 it's currently running, but I'm happy with this build at the moment!
