Clark Kent Ti500

I'll try and take some pics of my new (well, about 9 years old) Litespeed Palmares. I just scored it on eBay. I put some new bar tape on, new cables & housing, new brake pads, and some new wheels (fairly inexpensive Mavic CXP22 with Ultegra 6600 hubs). I took it for a first ride tonite - sweet. My research on the bike prior to purchasing it showed the Palmares was their top-of-the-line frame. I'll try and get some pics up this weekend.

I don't have to read the other 37 pages to know that c0lnago's bike wins by default, but I still say that Ruegammer (sp?) has everyone beat in the Hot or Not thread. Your Moots is better spec'ed however.

When all is said and done,the bike is 17.5 lbs with the DA wheels, and probably 100-150 grams less with the Cirros. Not the lightest bike in the world, but it's not too bad either considering the frame material and size.

With much help from this forum (thanks!), I built up this Odonata over the summer, my first build. All DA, Ouzo Pro, Masterpiece, Toupe. Although it pales next to most of the bikes in this post, it was fun to build and the bike suits this old guy like a dream.

It's an ML...and I must tell you I thought it would be too small. I had ridden a 57cm Firenze before. The bike shop (Randall Scott in Boulder CO, which I highly recommend) said I'd be fine. They were right, it fits me like a glove.
