Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Interference between wireless computer and headlight

I have a cateye wireless computer. If I go out for a ride and need to use my headlight, Gen 3 rechargeable from Performance the computer display does not register speed or time. The computer returns to normal when the light is shut off.Does anyone have any suggestions on a light that won't have any interference with a wireless computer?

I had this problem on my Roubaix with a Flight Deck computer. I am able to mount the light on the far left drop section of the handlebar without it being in my way while in the drops and it was far enough from the Flight Deck that there was no interference.

Try wrapping some aluminum foil around the lamp. I know this has worked for other people. You're essentially building an RF shield.
