Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Jose Luis Rubiera at this year's Giro, Stage 10. He's carrying FOUR feedbags back to his teammates!

I've always wondered what the support team stuff the riders' bags with - look at the picture, it seems like each bag could feed the whole team (well, not really, but you get my idea).
I know they only get the bags once or twice during a stage but the amount of food seems kind of excessive.

In addition to food, each rider is receiving a copy of "The Divinci Code". Not only do the pros relieve themselves while riding, they like to read while doing it.

Now why would anyone want to make jokes at the expense of poor Herr Krispy Kreme?

Why does this remind me of my last airline flight? Watch the elbows while the food cart goes by
