Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Need wheel/wheel set quick

I need a new front wheel....but I can't decide if I should just upgrade both the front and the rear. I have the Bontrager Selects that came with my Trek 1000 and the rear is fine. Is there a nice wheel set out there that would be noticeably better than what I have or should I just find a new front and keep my rear? If so, what would you reccommend for a front or a whole set, depending upon which way you'd go?

I had Selects on my Lemond. They are fine wheels. A few weeks ago I upgraded to Easton Vista SLs. They are nice somewhat aero wheels for @$300.00. Of course, the Open Pro / Ultegra is a worthy consideration.
