Repeats In the Jungle *Pics*
Urban Jungle that is! Where the stress of climbing and thrill of decents meet intervals and the dangers of commuting.
1) I start here! Comm.Ave & Warren St....one big pedal stroke from home.
2) At the top of the first climb my destination lies of to the left, but I have a bit more climbing first. I bang a u-turn at the intersection and ride down less steep side in Pic#1.
3) Looking back from the top (not so great pic)
4) I'm now at the bottom of Comm.Ave on the opposite side riding away from the first hill.
5) Quick right turn through the alley.
6) A right turn out the alley and up...
7) Up!
8) Up some more!...Note the chick on the left pushing her bike up the hill

9) Looking back
10) A left turn and here's my target climb from Pic#1
11) Half-way up and looking back.
12) The top is in sight!
13) A quite park at the top overlooking the Bean.
14) A left u-turn on the way down puts me here.
15) here!
16) And back! I started across the intersection on the left. Not ideal by any means but it's the quickest way to get some hills in...or get killed trying .

It sux that the pics just dont really show how steep some of that stuff really is. I tried to take a pic of my big climb today and just couldnt make look as steep as it does in person.

Just some small climbs in the Boston area, not sure about the park name. One loop is about 2.5miles...not easy to do longer climbs mid-week.

I wanted to take some shots from the side, but all the trees have grown in so the hill is blocked. Pic11 I think gives some idea of the steepness.
