Help me with sunglasses!
I need your input on a new pair of cycling glasses. Besides road biking, I also do track, and the problem with my current pair is that during sprints, air rushes in through the gap between my forehead and glasses and pulls out my contacts. I need help finding a pair of glasses that reduces this airflow as much as possible. I was thinking the Oakley M frames might offer this, but I hate the price. Any input?

I don't have contacts so I wouldn't know about this but I use a pair of Black Specialized San Remo's w/ Adaptalite lenses and they have worked great.
The lens has air holes on either side to help keep the glasses from fogging up and I'd imagine they would help keep your contacts from getting "sucked out".
Come to think of it, my riding partner also has the same glasses and he wears contacts. He's never mentioned this problem to me before so you should be ok.

Uvex safety glasses, about $19 bucks at your local safety supplier.

Try the Maui Jim Sport glasses. They're polarized and great for active sports.

Specialized's optics make me very happy, as a contact-wearing person. I have San Remos as well, but they're a little big for my face and I'm on the lookout for a cheap pair of Cortinas.
Also, they don't make me look like a prick if I step off the bike and into a coffee shop.

Try Smith Optics...the nice ones are about a hundred bucks and come with three sets of lenses at differing levels of darkness...one is clear (with Oakley you have to buy other lenses). They also come with a lifetime warranty.

I wear contacts (Ciba Night & Day) and had a problem with my eyes drying out, but not with the contacts pulling out. At the time, I was just wearing a pair of Revo sunglasses that I've had for about three years. After looking at the seemingly endless variety of frames and lenses (just look at all the suggestions on this thread), I decided that I wanted a frame and interchangeable lenses (clear for my 05:30 rides and in case I got stuck out at night, and a pair of dark lenses for afternoon rides). I found a pair of Smith Axis on fleaBay, new-in-box with three sets of lenses, for something like $60. I like them; after about five minutes, I don't even notice I have sunglasses on. The wind is no longer an issue, but I do find that they fog up rather quickly (especially on early morning rides when ambient temps are relatively cool).

I had a similar problem with airflow into the eyes that would really set off my allergies...
I went with the Rudy Project Freeon and they're AWESOME. They fit very snug to the face, and they have an adjustable nosepiece to bring them closer to/further from the face. Very nice. I use the Racing Red lenses, and they're great in most conditions I encounter here in MD.
