I can't speak to knee issues but the following orthopedic group did an outstanding job when I went over the bars and broke both wrists--(1) steel plate and (8) screws later I'm back in the saddle. The physical therapy staff and my physcian were sports oriented (doc. works with professional athletes and local H.S. football teams, PA that put my cast on was a former NORBA Mtn. bike racer).

I can recommend Carlos Prietta or Miguel Prietta at the Orthopaedic Specialty Institute, 280 S Main Street, Orange CA, 714-634-4567. Both Carlos and Miguel are regular, stong riders. I'm currently using Miguel to treat a chronic knee problem. A friend of mine also used him when he had a serious crash 3 months ago. Another friend uses Carlos and he is satisfied with his advice and treatment.
