Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Cannondale question

Do people actually buy these bikes for riding purposes? Or do they buy them to get the components from them? I've seen some ads for them in Bicycling magazine but I've never seen anyone riding one.

I really, really hope I destroyed this dead horse but somehow I doubt it. The Motobecane Mob just keeps coming.

What you expect when you can get a bike with entry brifter like sora and other fairly decent parts for about 1/3 the price of the same equipment bought seperatly ?

Like this one on ebay for 750 uy it now
https://cgi.ebay.com/Motobecane-Sprin...ayphotohosting
better group that what i shoped around online to find that would cost me 750

Hmm wich should i buy shimano 105 or higher end Ultegra at the same price and the rims to go along with it all?

And oh yeh i got a frame i can off for 75 bucks to if i were to buy one. Sorry thteres a good reason to see so many threads on them.

The way its going i think it would almost be worth having a sub forum dedicated to motobecanes.
