Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Slot available for Tin Man Century (Janesville, WI)

I've been asking around the local bike club but noone has offered to take it so I will give it a shot here ...
I was registered for the Tin Man Century in Janesville, WI. It's roughly 10,000 feet of climbing over 105 miles. No sweat, right? Anyways, two weeks ago I managed to tangle with a car on the way home. This resulted in a fractured elbow thus no chance of doing the ride. They'll let me give me slot to someone else, so if you hail from anywhere around southern Wisconsin/Illinois and want some fun on the 29th, drop me a note.

You can see a bit more information on the ride at https://www.cyclistsagainstcancer.com.

I'm bumping this on the off chance someone missed it as it flew off the front page. As long as you have a couple of hours to spare next Saturday, why not give it a try?
