Bianchi Celeste Wheels?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Bianchi Celeste Wheels?

Looking to upgrade my Bianchi. Anyone have suggestions for some nice matching wheels? Celeste?

nothing beats black wheels with big writing on them

I reckon the recent attempted trend for silver rims to make a comeback will fail

i think celeste tires are as close as you'll get. I think puter / gun metal gray looks really good with celeste, so I'd look in to some puter rims.

They are super hard to find now, i think it was michilen who used to make them, but who ever it was stopped so usually the celeste tires I find are NOS or 'slightly used' on ebay.

Celeste tires would be cool too... yeah. So I guess I'm back to square one.

Looks first, performance later.

Apparently out of production, but this place has had them on closeout for months now, must have bought up the remaining stock.

I don't know of any celeste wheels (and I probably would have found them during my celeste phase with my Bianchi Veloce). I got black to match the stem, bars, post, and cranks I had on mine. I suppose you could get deep rims, get some BIANCHI stickers, cut each letter seperately and put them around the rim. Just a thought.

Bikes: I built the Bianchi track bike back up today.

If your LBS deals Bianchi, they should be able to get them, I forget the brand, but they exist.

My faves right now are a set of NOS Grand Prix 3000s that actually match my 80's frame a lot better than the Vittorias did... Good luck finding those...
