Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Thinking of building up a set of tubular wheels...suggestions?

I'm leaning toward White Industries H1 32 spoke hubs but I'm not sure which rims offer the best bang for the buck. I don't mind a semi-aero rim.

Any recommendations?

Originally, I was thinking of Chris King hubs but they are a bit more expensive and I couldn't use my Campy cassettes with them without adapters and I don't want to mess with that. Any other great hubs I'm overlooking? I'd like to keep the cost around $600 total.

What's wrong with Campagonolo hubs?

Velocity have 2 tubular rims to choose from, one 19 mm high and one 30 mm high.

Mavic reflex are nice sturdy rims.
Fir Isidis also very nice rims.
And as mentioned the Velocity rims.

+1 on the campy hubs.
check Tune mig and mag hubs.
btw the chris king hubs are very noisy. . . .
