Tour de Moore Century in NC
anyone riding this event during Labor day weekend? Southern Pines, NC.
I plan on doing it but....
My training hit a snag. Had some bike mechanical issues this week that rendered me bikeless for several days. I have not ridden in 5 days. Also, my wife discovered that she had a stress fracture in her hip. yesterday she had surgery. The orthopedist put three screws in her left hip. Tour de Moore wasn't looking too god.
Today things improved. My wife was discharged from hospital. I made it to the LBS and had some mechanical work done on my Ciocc. Now she's ready to ride(wife and bike...ha ha!)
I'm off work tomorrow...so I plan to get out and do 40 miles. Big days planned for Saturday and Sunday as well. My training for the Tour de Moore Century is back on track. Maybe I'll make it to the start line after all.
