China's problems aren't going to be easy to change...they've to change slowly. China has ~1.5 billion people. If we've that many people in the US, you think you can maintain such high salaries and cost of living? You think you can by choosey in what you do in terms of work? You do what you need to do to survive. Guess what happens to these people in China when there is NO job? Chances are they will have to steal to survive. Yes, job conditions are lousy (particularly for those with little or not education), but at least they have an opportunity to move up from poverty. Resources are limited, just because you're used to this high standard of living, doesn't mean the Chinese doesn't appreciate the lower standard of living, because chances are it's better than what they had.

Me? I made a donation to a cancer charity and cut my LONG hair after 14 years so that children undergoing chemo could get a quality human-hair wig. And I didn't need any yellow bracelet to advertise to the world that I cared enough about cancer to spend 3 bucks on it.
Those yellow bracelets to me jumped the shark when politicians wore them as supplementals to their American flag pin in an effort to one-up their opponent in both patriotism and altruism.

Oh dear God......................Dont' Buy from China......buy from China! Give me a damn break! To say I don't buy from them and then those who do support slavery. Geez Oh' Freaking Pete what a bunch of bull$hhhitttt!
Every damn country in the world has dman slave labor. We her ein the US are bound by low wages for jobs that no one wants just because we have to attempt to put food on the damn table for our families! So don't hand me that crap about China being the only place that does this. I won't rant any further for I might get carried away!

Back to the OP:
Bianchi Reparto Corse - made in Italy, other models made in Taiwan.
Fondriest - all models made in Italy, even the carbon fiber frames. Crazy paint jobs if you want it.

I'm pretty picky about the origin of products I buy. Mostly, I try to avoid buying products made under oppressive regimes. Sometimes it can't be helped, though. After all, I do ride a Litespeed.

This is getting into P&R territory here, but... are you serious ? Do you boycott US made products for the same reasons ?
