Manta??
I've been looking for a road bike and I have a friend at a LBS that found a perfect fit for me. He says its a Manta.
I have never heard of it, I don't know the model.
Can anyone toss me some info on these bikes?
Thanks.

I've never heard of them either.
Just make sure it doesn't go squirrely on you, and stab you in the chest.
I miss Steve.

Bikes: Manta
I would also like to get some info about Manta bikes. I have a Manta from the late 70's and all the components are still working properly. A very well built bike with top notch components according to my local bike shop. Who made them?

I used to own a 1973 Opel Manta, but I don't think that you are thinking of this.

Manta Bicycle from the late 1970's
My wife has a Manta Road Bicycle from the late 1970's. It has an Altus rear derailer, a solid steel bike with steel cromed wheels. Nice forgiving front forks.
