Aluminum Finish
I just got a Schwin from my uncle. It is about 15 years old and is teal. I don't like this color so I am thinking about having it sand blasted to get the paint off and then polish the aluminum and put a clear coat on it. How would I go about polishing it?

Assuming your blast media isn't too course, start with 220 sandpaper, then 320, then 400, then 600 then buffing compound. I wouldn't clearcoat the finish, use Mothers aluminum polish - https://www.mothers.com/ . I can't say for bikes, but when I restored cars, polishing aluminum was a real pain. I would estimate it will take 40-80 hours to do the job.
