R600DuraAce has many very scientific racing tools at hs disposal. Even though we here about all the doping charges in the higher classes of racing. The CentralPark Racing Association Peleton (C.R.A.P.) has no such rules so R600 employs the device known simply as the wattage dial. The dial shown below is miniaturized and takes the place of your stem cap. Depending on how bad you want to drop your make believe competition is how much you turn the dial. Felling froggy....dial it up :)

110th street, north west corner of the park. not much of a hill, but if you're in a breakaway, or your not that fit, it can hurt. there's also Cat's Paw Hill, not far from the boathouse, which isn't much of a hill, but where almost all of the races have an uphill sprint for the finish.

Doesn't look like that one goes over 120 at the most.

You're talking about 'real race' wins, right? Remember he's already racked up heaps of victories, I would guess several every time he's out riding, against unsuspecting Central Park riders. The guy did keep looking back like a professional, so I could be off the mark here. If true, many congrats R600 on your first pro victory! Looking forward to the next race report.

flythebike 10-25-06 07:33 AM

For once it sounds like his foe was actually trying to race him. Therefore, in this thread, he actually did win a 'race'. These kinds of tug of wars do actually happen you know.

I was mountain biking on Sunday and me and this dude had a really really fun battle. The highlight was when I was going over this log, caught my rear wheel on it, looked like I was going to fall, and the guy decided to stop and unclip. But I actually got over the thing somehow and then opened up a gap. That beats dialing it up to 400W!

What a small world! That was my friend who tried to drop you! She kept looking back because she thought you were cute. Just PM me and I can give her your number. Here is a pic of her in case you couldn't get a good look due to the tremendous speed you were traveling.

Sounds like he's never seen Seinfeld, or is being purposely obtuse. I laughed, FWIW.

Only beleive only Chuck Norris can do that, which begs the question Chuck or R600DA in a two up?

I would venture to guess that his dog is in a much better place now.

R600DuraAce does not sleep. He waits.

you never heard of Frank Lloyd Wright, architect of the Guggenheim, amongst many other buildings?

Of course. It's pretty common knowledge. My favorite FLW is Fallingwater; I grew up near there and it's absolutely spectacular.

However, what you are missing is that whitemax cited "Art Vandalay", which is a reference to an episode (actually several episodes) of Seinfeld where George pretends to be "Art Vandalay, Architect" (George's childhood dream) who designed, "the new addition to the Guggenheim".

R600 FTW. He'd, like, do burnouts on Chuck's face. And no one wants to receive a burnout from a wheel built on an eleventybillion dollar Powertap hub, yo!

I missed the Bdog! good one...

Some cyclist wear pajamas with Lance Armstrong on them. Lance Armstrong wears pajamas with R600DuraAce on them.

El Diablo Rojo 10-25-06 11:21 AM

The only good thing about 600's posts are the responses...some of these are quite funny.

SaabFan 10-25-06 11:24 AM

I feel sorry for people who haven't been around long enough to remember his first big thread. They probably think we're all a bunch of nutcases.

R600DuraAce does not need to measure wattage, he only needs to smell the smoke from his drivetrain.

SaabFan 10-25-06 11:28 AM

Dude, he doesn't measure wattage. He cranks it up!
