Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Bellatisport and Kuota

Check this out:
https://www.bellatisport.com

Is it just me, or is the price there on the Kuota Kharma once you spec it all out insanely good? I thought this bike generally went for quite a bit more. The frame generally runs just over $1500, but looks like you can pick it up with Ultegra for just over 2K total.

I shopped the Kharma a few months ago....sizing wasn't right for me. It was speced with all Ultegra and Reynolds something wheels for $2800. That setup seems good, but the rest of the buildup isn't listed (brakes, etc). If they're consistent, that seems like a sweet deal.

have you seen those kuotas up close

I would see if you can look at one at a dealer

the finish isn't very good--and I've seen several (local kuota dealer), so it wasn't a fluke

I just bought a Kharma (about 7 weeks ago) for ~$3200. It has full Ultegra and Mavic CXP33 wheels. If I had only known...

The bike retails for $3250. I'm sure that site's a scam.

no experience with the bike, but have gotten some goodies from them extra cheap with fast ship, etc.

note that if you 'register' (free) you will see discounted pricing after logging in as a registered user...

Not so on the scam site. I have purchased stuff, although not a complete bike, from them an thier service and pricing is very good. $11 to ship a stem from Switzerland, you can't even get that on scambay. The only thing to watch is when your credit card is charged, the exchange rate and some Amex for example have a surcharge for overseas transactions. Still a deal.

I was looking at the Kuota's they had and the pricing is as low as I've seen.
