Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Help Me Out, 2006 Chorus or 2007 Centaur

Happy Holidays Everyone, I need to pull the trigger on a set Campy 10 speed Ergo Levers and can't decide if I should go 2006 Campy Chorus levers for $211.00 including shipping from Nashbar or the 2007 Campy Centaur Ergo Levers for $169.00 with free shipping from PBK. The new Centaur levers are now carbon and have the new Quick-Shift. Thanks

2006 Chorus for sure. If you are looking to save some money I have seen 2006 Veloce for like $96.

I haven't tried it but I am an escape hater.

Chorus... the 07 centaur won't let you shift multiple gears at once. Only one at a time.

ProBikeKit does not have 2007 Chorus levers listed. I wonder why? Maybe not shipping them yet.

ok, but still not the advantage that 06 campy, or current Chorus/Record has for dumping your whole cassette.

p.s: when I replace my 06 veloce that is what I will go for ("07 centaur derailleurs w/ 07 chorus levers")
