Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Imagine climbing the Alps with these.

Someday, people with missing limbs will have prosthetics made with these. I wouldn't want to race them. I most certainly wouldn't want to sprint against them. I've read about this research in the past. Future robotic science will eventually evolve to this level. The Cyclons are on the way.

"In Baughman's latest work, done in collaboration with John Madden at the University of British Columbia..."

You see, what happens here is you spin carbon nanotubes into small yarn, and BOOM!

As I understand it, they're only toxic during the manufacturing process, when they can be inhaled, etc. But I might be wrong.
