Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

patentcad,

i'm afraid i have to agree with grasschopper. buy some assos bibs. they are the SHIZZLE, and anybody who says otherwise doesn't know what they're talking about.

btw - a little dab of Assos chamois cream will do you wonders as well.

FWIW, I haven't had any saddle sore issues since mine healed up and I switched over to Assos bibs. Also haven't even been using the cream lately either (makes my nads really cold with the wind and cold weather)...

I've never used assos bibs and I've never had saddle sores and I rode thousands of miles this year. I am sure I just jinxed myself now.

I put some baby powder on the chamois before every ride and I also groom down there. DZ gave has some nice pointers on how to avoid saddle sores.
