A friend of mine rides both fixed and rollers at times and it has really smoothed out his stroke. I asked him if he ever rode his fixie on his rollers and he said that he didn't. Does anyone?

I haven't done this myself but I've seen many do it at big track races to stay warm between races. Some use trainers instead. I don't know what the attraction of rollers is vs trainers and maybe its just the pose value of being able to ride rollers. It is easier and quicker to get on and off rollers though.

Track riders have been using rollers for years. I remember as a child in the 70's seeing local riders at shopping centres showing their skills on rollers as the Club President tried to boost membership.

riding rollers fixed is twice as easy as riding a geared bike on rollers. your forced to pedal semi-evenly fixed.
