Bianchi vs Spesh
Well I'm shortly getting my first road bike and have pretty much narrowed it down to a Bianchi C2C VIA NIRONE 7 Alu Xenon 10 sp mix Compact 2007 or a Spesh Allez '07 triple
The spec is pretty similar. The only differences being the Bianchi is a compact double and the Spesh is a triple. Will I really miss the third ring if i get the bianchi? (Ive been riding a triple mtb for ages now)
The other thing is the Specialized isnt clipless as standard but as its cheaper i would just whack some on.
So I was just wondering if anyone had any info that could help me make up my mind, anything at all about the two brands, or Xenon vs Sora , Double vs Triple etc
Many thanks in advance,
H

the Xenon 10 speed group is essentially last years Mirage shifters and crank, and a mix of Mirage and Veloce for the rest.

I would say you'll be much happier with that group than with SORA

Test ride both bikes, I own a Bianchi Via Nirone and have ridden a Specialized Allez and they handle differently. As for the components go with whatever feels more comfortable. The Bianchi with the 10 speed groupo will be easier to upgrade if you wish to do that in the future.
