Looking for riders 6 foot tall who ride compact frames.
 

Would like to know height/inseam and what size top tube (virtual) you are riding. Thanks in advance.

6 feet even, 33.75" cycling inseam. Ride a 58 with a 57 virtual top tube. Love the ride but prefer my traditional framed bikes more.

6'3" ~36" inseam. I ride a 58.5cm (XL). Like Rad, while it rides well etc, I too ride my traditional frame more ..

I forget what the virtual top tube is, but it's a Giant TCR Composite ('05); can look it up online.

6' - only compact is my new flyte. It's a 56cm, all the other info you can find at Flyte1.com. cycling insteam I believe is about a 34.5

57cm TCR and im 6-2

Lee just a heads up here: your trunk + arm length is what is gonna determine optimal reach (reach = effective top tube length + stem), not your height/inseam. I suspect that most folks decide what frame size to buy based soley on inseam length and whatever effective top tube length that results from that frame size selection is what they get for better or worse, not the best way to choose a frame...

6'4" with a 37" inseam. I ride a 61cm compact frame (Specialized Roubaix).

I really didn't care if it was a compact or traditional geometry. What I really wanted was a long head tube because of my long inseam. I have to raise my saddle so high that I have 4-5" of saddle-bar drop even with the stem up on most racing frames. I don't feel comfortable with much more than 3".

Not me, but my friend is 6'4" and rides a XL Giant TCR.

6 feet even, ride a 54cm Specialized with a 55cm virtual top tube. My other bike frames are slightly larger, but all with 55 to 56.5 cm top tubes.

6'2" on a 58cm Flyte SRS-2. It fits me well. I have slightly short legs relative to my overall height, so comparisons may be meaningless.

6'6" with a 37" inseam. I ride an XL Giant TCR with the seat way high in the air with a pretty significant drop to the bars.

I think it's a 60.5 virtual TT.

6 feet even, ride a 55cm Cannondale Six13. Around 55cm virtual top tube.

6'... 6'1" on a good day... no idea what my inseam is... 32-36"ish, maybe? no clue... riding a 56 cervelo soloist with a 110mm stem (TT = 56.5cm). Fits like a glove... just not an OJ Simpson bloody glove... more like a Pearl Izumi Cyclone glove :D...

I'm 6'-1.5", 34.8" inseam (88.5cm) and I like a 56.0mm to 56.5mm top tube. My 55cm Lemond has a 56.5 virtual top tube and I use a 100mm stem. This is due to long femurs and I have my saddle tip 10.4 cm behind the bottom bracket. Since I'm siting so far back, any longer of a top tube and I'm stretched too far out. The nice tall headtube of the Lemond compensates for the smaller frame with my overall height.

6'0" with a 32" inseam. Riding a compact Litespeed Teramo large frame. As to top tube length, who knows, well let me put it this way, I don't know nor care.

6', 32.5" inseam, I ride a Litespeed Vortes Compact, size M/L - don't remember the specs, but they can be checked on their website.

5'-11" with 31in inseam riding a (semi) compact 54cm Felt F65 with a 54-1/2 TT (Horizontal)

I ride a 54 BMC an 55 Look, rode a 56 cervelo and a large k2 previously

6"1, and I ride a size Large Litespeed Siena (don't know how that translates in cm, gotta check the site). I'm definitely more legs than torso, so the smaller reach seems to work for me (although I had to shorten the stem to a 110mm).

By the way, I've read elsewhere that Litespeed geometry stays the same in a classic frame or compact. I've also read that Litespeed Geometry fits longer torso riders better. So why it fits me so well, I can't say - but it works.

In the end, I feel it's more important to follow top tube length than seat tube length. Bottom line, get fitted first.

Thanks for the info. I know my measurements very well but have not purchased a compact frame before. Am considering the Time Med (56cm) or Large (57cm) or Look 565 (56 cm) top tubes. Am in Hawaii so hard to see any of them before purchasing. Lee

Just wanted to chime in - I'm 6'1" with a 34 inch inseam, and ride a 55 cm LeMond Zurich. I got professionally fitted, so I know it's right. I wear pants with a 30-32 inch inseam - I'm glad to see there are other "Short-legged" tall guys here.
