Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I have a Crankbrother's decal, a parktool decal and my bike club's sticker on the rear bumper of my car. I love the way it looks.

Have you ever been accosted, or have trails close due to pressure from groups with other uses in mind (like hikers or equestrians perhaps)?

i've seen the NYPD manhandle and arrest a bunch of cyclists in central park, due to the lobbying of the road runners club. does that count?

having trails "closed" to riding has nothing to do with mountain biking being illegal. i've never been upset about certain trails being closed to riding, & i am even in favor of some being so. i've also been accosted by people in cars for riding, yet i realize that i'm in no way breaking the law. a better sticker would be "open all trails to bikes" or something of the sort.

4 if you count the young buck white holding the other three up.
