Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

yea my poggio3 nike carbon soles are like ****. first ive tried taping the areas of contacT with the road with electric tape and it worked for a while. i eventially gave up and got some toe warmers. they help slow the wear but im starting to rip through them. worst case is ill have to look for a cheap pair on ebay 2 or 3 years form now when my poggio's are useless. shoes are shoes and they wear out like any other.

If it gives you any solace, here are mine, about 3 years old, and beat to ever loving hell. Still going strong though. They've been on concrete, gravel, mud, dirt, grass, snow and anything in between, as is indicated by not cleaning them out since my last race.
