Tornadoes don't hit brick houses, they aim for trailer parks and brick houses sometimes just get in the way...

And yes, it's nice down here right now. About 68, light breeze and partly cloudy.

wabbit 03-15-07 10:42 AM

originally we were supposed to get about 5cm on saturday....now they're saying 15!

This is what they call an equinoctial storm- in march and september, around the time of the equinoxes, you'll get bad weather- usually in sept it's rain.

Ground Pig at Al Qaeda training camp in southern Pakistan.

Having grown up in Punxsutawney, PA that is one of the funniest things ever. Going to forward the pix to my buddies.

It is snowing right now in Pittsburgh.

oilman_15106 03-15-07 12:25 PM

Forgot. The storm of the Centruy. 27 inches of snow March 13, 1993. Even did a PBS special on it.

Grasschopper 03-16-07 05:52 AM

Son of a......they just updated our forecast...we are supposed to get 8-12 inches now rather than 1-3. Mother F&#%er

Lookin' like 10 - 16" up here....

And not even starting until later this afternoon, so can't even skip out of work and plead Flatlander..

The cycling Gods are not happy with me...

What do you think I need to sacrifice in order to get in their good graces...

FrankBattle 03-16-07 06:03 AM

uckfey!! Snow here too. I don't know nor do I care how much it is.

'Tis a mixed bag. I don't get to go out. But I may also get out of traveling (driving!) to Philly; Ordinarily, I would have given my pinky to go, but it's snowing down there too, so I wouldn't have gotten to ride anyhow.

Why must you kick us when we are down and pour salt in our wounds?

I finally got to ride outside after work this week and thought the indoor riding was done for the year. Now this rain/ice/snow ***** hits today. I can't take it anymore.

In January I rode in bib shorts and just a short sleeve jersey a few times now in march I can't even ride outside. I hate you bad weather.

LanceFanBoy 03-16-07 08:43 AM

onkey 03-16-07 08:53 AM

aadhils 03-16-07 09:20 AM

I hate this darn 80 degree weather we've been having lately. WE need some snow for a change.

p.s. I did'nt wear a jacket this morning to work cause it was so hot...

ri_us 03-16-07 09:50 AM

Tell me about it, we just had to cancel a race. How many of you lost thousands of dollars on this one?

Heck, easy enough....And I will save a few grams...

A little Lidocaine and a knife....No problem...

We need to build an alter and say a prayer...

Then I want a carbon fiber replacement....

woodboy 03-16-07 11:54 AM

More snow in the woods is good, but keep it off the roads please. Almost rode on Wednesday evening when it was 60 degrees, but it started raining so beer and chicken wings instead:(

EdZ 03-16-07 11:57 AM

2 days ago I was hauling my ass up a mountain in 78 degree weather. Today, its 28 degrees outside and snowing. ****

I just discovered the Compu-Trainer at the local running/tri shop. What a great invention. It sure beats staring at the walls on my trainer in the basement. While it's not cycling in the great outdoors, at least you have the visuals of a nice Arizona road, and lots of technical data to help take your mind off the pain! Once your HR goes above 190 it all looks the same anyway!!!

Hammertoe 03-16-07 02:03 PM

It's snowing pretty hard...

Leaving work now for another session on the trainer...

Is it ever going to end....

blonduathlongrl 03-16-07 02:04 PM

snowing hard here too!!

DocRay 03-16-07 02:10 PM

This sums it up for me
