Fulcrum Racing 1s v. Eurus
For a Shimano drivetrain? Was set to go with the Eurus, but then I heard from a trusted LBS that the Eurus is harder to true due to the G3 configuration, and the Racing 1s are every bit as good. Cost difference marginal, Eurus can be had on the Internet for $750 and Racing 1s at about $799. Assume both are bombproof, and that pairing up the Racing 1s with a Shimano 10 is actually the better way to go. Thanks in advance.

IIRC the Eurus is also available with a Shimano freehub...
To me the decision was purely an aesthetic one. They're pretty much the same at the hub, but they use some unique spoke designs and slightly different rims. Pick the ones that look prettier on your bike, because I think you'll be happy with the performance either way.

The EURUS Why do so many people spell it Euros? I see that all over the net.
Anyway pick which ever wheel you want...they are very similar wheels, level of quality is the same and there is no reason the Eurus wont function perfectly on a Shimano system.

Eurus just don't go out of true...
If they do you need a LBS to true it to get to the tension adjusters...
But they are really bulletproof...
