Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Congratulations, you big stud!

Believe me, if I thought that cycling caused sexual dysfunction in men, I'd be hanging out at NascarForums.net.

By the way, about your nick...are you in the navy, or are you a poor speller?

Now go ask your wife if you can be my boyfriend.

Spill forth thy nobel steed and multiply the cyclist's genes.

I always laugh at this myth. I have a cyclist friend who almost wishes that were true. I think he and his wife are on their sixth child. The last one was a set of twins.

I wouldn't laugh too loudly. Scientific studies support that this is no myth. Anecdotal evidence of cyclists having several children does not disprove anything. I, too, have a baby on the way (due in August) but I certainly don't believe that this disproves the research that demonstrates that cyclists face increased chances of suffering from sexual dysfunction.

One article can be found at:

https://my.webmd.com/content/article/11/1685_50034

Or you can just go to google and search for "sexual dysfunction and cycling" and you will get an eyeful. The article noted cites research from the Boston University Medical Center. Those guys aren't turning out garbage research.
