Padding

Of course, you're after the one with the least padding and gel, right?

Take it for a test ride and see how you like it. An average LBS should let you ride it for a week. A good LBS should let you have it for a month. A great LBS will put a 6 month guarantee on the saddle allowing you to return it at any time within 6 months if you aren't happy with it.
It's actually a very good idea to test ride a lot of different saddles until you figure out what shape of saddle works for you, and what material works for you.

Then test ride whatever your LBSs do have in stock before you lay down some cash on a saddle sight-unseen. That way you'll get some idea what YOU like.

If you're looking at the SLK, get the stock SLK, much, much more comfortable. Cheaper and lighter than the gel version too, so bonus. Gel bunches in strange ways, causes horrible chafing after awhile. Same thing for most folks with the gel chamois shorts... it's just not a good butt padding material.
The stock SLK is probably the most comfy saddle I've ever used that I was aware of. Strange thing to say, and I wouldn't have thought I'd ever say it... until I started using a Specialized Toupe (stock, not the gel). The toupe just kind of disappears underneath you. You forget you're riding it. Zero numbness, zero pain, zero sit-bone issues due to flexible nature of the saddle's sides. Plus it weighs nothing. It's my opinion that the more Toupes you put on a bike, the lighter it gets. After like 15 or 20, you have a bike you need to tie down rather than lean against a tree, lest it float away.
