Help with wheels
So I was moving out of college the other day, when after finally getting my F 70 in the back seat, I pulled out only to realize that I just ran over my front tire. I then reminisced about when my father ran over my first bike ever and how mad I was at him. Hoping it was still ok (no visible bending) I tried to put it back on. No dice, definitely bent and hitting the break pad. I was wondering if anyone could suggest to me a new wheel. I am relatively new to the sport (less than a year) and extremely poor (just moved out of college) however I would like to at least put wheels on that are as good or better than the one I rolled over. Also as a side note, can someone direct me to a forum that would explain who Ryanf is? Thanks!

It might be worth going to your local bike shop (LBS) to see if the wheel can be fixed. If it's minor, they can true it up. If it looks like a Pringle, then you might need a new one. They may be able to replace just the rim, using the original hub & spokes.
