my first road bike a '07 Schwinn Le Tour GS, 3 days new!
I know, it's a cheapie compare to what u guys have... but it's my first roadie http://i243.photobucket.com/albums/f...ow/schwinn.jpg http://i243.photobucket.com/albums/f...hwinn-sora.jpg http://i243.photobucket.com/albums/f...inn-tiagra.jpg http://i243.photobucket.com/albums/f...winn-frame.jpg and my '05 Giant Rincon http://i243.photobucket.com/albums/f...ylow/giant.jpg http://i243.photobucket.com/albums/f...ant-alivio.jpg http://i243.photobucket.com/albums/f...iant-frame.jpg I wanted a Giant OCR 3 or a OCR 2 so I called my the 3 Giant dealers within 20 mile radius... all sold out. The new '08 models won't be in for another week or so... I just couldn't wait, so I settled with a Schwinn. |
Have fun on it!

Nice bike. Yeah I got the last FCR3/OCR they had in the store and It was last years model so it was like half off w/ upgrades. Ha ha. I love this bike, and now I want 3 more. :)

So congratulations and ENJOY! 2) I myself bought an OCR 3 just a month ago, and have held back posting the details in my signature, or any pictures, for fear of bike snobbery... but come on... it's new, and it's my baby. Sure I'll upgrade it as I go. Sure I need to get in better shape (and I am). But couldn't anybody see that it's the MOST BEAUTIFUL BIKE IN THE WORLD? No Colnago or Seven has anything over it! Problem is, you show up on those group rides and people look at your bike and then quickly look away. So I get to feeling inferior. Well, you showed me! Power to the people! P.S. I won't tell you how happy I am with the OCR 3... ;-) |

Just picked it up yesterday,
2007 Lemond Versailles. All parts stock, shimano cycle computer and Look Keo Sprint pedals added. Gonna try it for a few weeks before judging it, but it's mostly likely the bontrager saddle will have to go. http://www.crast.us/james/images/bik...ailles_new.jpg I have only put a few miles on it in my parking lot and in the back street learning the new pedals, looking to do my first exercise ride tomorrow, hoping it continues to kick ass. It's really strange riding on the hoods and in the drops, I've never had a non-flat bar before. |
