Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Ultegra PD-6620 Pedals

Anybody have any experience with the new Ultegra PD-6620 pedals? I'm currently using the Time Impact ones (base level). I like them, but I'm ready for a change. I like the fact that the Ultegra's look like they have a little wider base. So, any good, or bad experiences?

I've only seen them, but they look way better. Sexier. Mmmmmm.

I actually just got back from the shop after having them installed. But I haven't ridden them yet.

So my reply is essentially worthless. Sorry.

FWIW they look great.

never understood comments on the looks of pedals and saddles - you don't see them when you're on the bike people.

Sounds good, let me know how you like them after you get to ride them!

Personally, I don't ride bike people. However, if bike people had pedals, you may have a point.

Ultegra pedals

I have had mine for a couple of months, about 1400 miles and couldn't be happier. The wide platform really works, not just a gimmick. It distributes the weight nicely and is easy to get into. I don't have much experience with other pedals but I would highly recommend these. Good luck.
