Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

My first project.

I placed a bid at the last second for this frame thinking I wouldn't even get the reserve price
https://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...6050&rd=1&rd=1

I was correct, but the seller offered it to me for my final bid as a second chance offer

With the money I saved from this I think I am going to go all out with a full Dura-Ace group
and some Zero-G brakes, and a custom made green and black Arione.

I am not sure what wheels I am going to go with, I was thinking of some Topolinos or even some Ambrosio Carbons.

Yes it is, but I am 5'7 and looking at the geometry it should fit me fine, in fact I almost paid full price for this frame from Bellattisport.com .
And if I wanted it in these colors I was going to have to wait 4-6 weeks.

Sweet ******** Christ that frame is hot... personally I'd go white with a green center stripe on the Arione, and white faux leather tape (fizik) with green finishing electrical tape...

I was going to ask what prompted you to bid but it looks like you did your homework. Please let us know how it rides once you get her on the road.

Well I took my frame up to my LBS, and I am having them build it

Full Dura ace group 11-21 cassette, No hills in these parts.
K.Force stem and Handlebars
Topolino c-29 revelations
and a Fizik Arione saddle

Plus with the money I saved on the frame and the price I was given for a new Cervelo P-3 I am also getting one of these as well.

Pics coming as soon as I receive them.

1. Nice frame!
2. Call up these manufacturers (phone numbers available on their websites) and ask them if they can pay you some compensation for riding around with their advertisements already emblazoned on your frame - under the clear coat, no less!
3. It looks like you'll have to equipe your bicycle with the corresponding products from these manufacturers as well, otherwise you'll be just donning their adverts for nothin'.

4. Did I mention that's a sweet frame?! (I'm referring to it's shape, build, quality)...
