Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Sunscreen...?

Anyone use AloeGator total sunblock? Just bought a tube of the gel from REI, and it's like vaseline going on, but once it works in, it's great stuff. Seems to really stay on, doesn 't run in the eyes..and I don't get 'red nose' on long sunny rides like I'm used to.

It blocks UVA and UVB and has aloe in it.

Just curious if anyone has ever used it and what their experience(s) are/ were.

Thanks!

BTW..35 miles today..at about a 15mph pace, but was in between groups, chatting with some new folks, hammering when I needed to...just a totally enjoyable ride in the ruralties north of Boston!

I've been using the spray on stuff, it's a lot easier to deal with. Hopefully it works as well.

Me too. Neutruogena has one that also blocks UVA and UVB. But, whatever works for ya.

I use the spray on Bullfrog and love it. I don't think I will ever go to anything but spray on.
