First ride back
Well I decided it was time. I have not rode in going on 2 weeks because of a problem. I lost some weight from not doing much. As soon as I got on my steed I could tell. I had to wipe spider webs off. I had spiders in my helmet too. I got them out because I don't want them in my frow.
Weight is very important part of cycling and I felt great losing about 3 pounds. I was 150.0 pounds this morning. Trust me a few pounds is monsterous. I got to the pavement and took off. After 40 seconds I had to slow because I could not breath well. I can't breath fully yet. Maybe 80 percent. I slowed under 30 mph to about 22mph and rode out to a hill to test myself. My record is 3'47" up it.
That is the fastest I have ever gone up it. That is without water in the bottles. With water it takes more than 4 minutes. I could not breath good but felt faster than 2 weeks ago. The less wieght was amazing. I don't want it back. My legs looked the same and felt bigger when I felt the thigh. There really hard so they did not get smaller. My knee hurt after 5 minutes. It was hurting earlier today too. It was not from riding. I got to the hill and enjoyed a fast descent. Then at the bottom turned and rode up it. The first time I had water in the bottles but I beat 5 minutes.
I did it 2 more times and best was about 4'35". Not to bad because I could not breath as good as normal. The wieght was great. I was slower but think I was stronger had I been able to breath fully. Then I rode home. I wore 3 layers of jersys because it was a little cold. About 65-70 degrees but I have not meat on the bones on my top half. All together it was 18 miles and successful ride.

Throw the stick!!!!
I think the pro's are actually searching Ryanf posts for advice to give them that little advantage that will put them on the podium in France.

Wazzap Hammertime?
You mentioned very little traffic at the 4 way stop in your area.Who has the right-of-way(4 way stop) if you,a chicken,a hog, horse drawn wagon all show up at opposing stop signs at the same time around there?
I,m glad you shook out your helmet to avoid more bugs in your bellfree.
You seldom mention Jan anymore. Are his posters now liners at the bottom of the chicken coops?

Seriously, I wouldnt worry about your weight so much. 150 pounds is a fine weight to be; now try to stay at 150 all the time. This will mean that you're getting all the calories you need to recover from exercise, and you'll get faster.
Have you thought about joining a juniors team or something? You've got the enthusiasm, but no direction at all.

Seeing how he's such a huge fan of der Jan and so poor at spelling, I think he meant frau. Personally, I wouldn't want spiders or their webs in my frau either. Ryan, you need to spend more time with your frau.
