Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I do like to rock the pink shirts. So, I second this one. But I actually like Hincapie's kit (I have a little man crush on Hincapie as he is my height and he can hurt people; not that this has anything to do with jerseys), but I would not be caught dead in them for the patriotic colors.

My country would disown me for wearing some other country's colors .. never mind how I feel about the U.S. flag.

Actually, I like the way you broke it down there, even though I disagree with most of your choices. Personally, I assumed that the OP was referring to the team jerseys, and not the special jerseys that come with leading in GC, KOM or sprinting, or the various region/world champion jerseys for various disciplines...

I don't like the Astana jerseys... horrible color combination. Come to think of it, the colors individually suck as well. I'm also not a fan of the saunier duval kit.

Gerolsteiner is probably my favorite, although the predictor lotto is fairly hawt too

I also need to mention Liquigas, they are definitely the most improved jersey of the year. Yes, CSC and Fdjeux are both nice, it's just that those two seem to change very little from year to year.

If you expand it to the entire ProTour, I'm going to have to go with the Unibet ? jersey.

I also like the red and white jersey, but in my opinion, if someone has more than one jersey, the lesser of the two jerseys should comprise both sleeves. ie, Rasmussen would wear Yellow body with polka dot sleeves. I think that would be amazing. If you were Eddy Merckx, however, I guess one sleeve polka dot, one green, and the body yellow... not that that's on topic...

he was refering to the team jerseys, i just took it a step further, just because. and i take it i'm one of the few people that are not fond of the CSC jersey, not because of how it looks, but because almost everyone i know has at least one and it's one of the few team jerseys i'm actually tired of seeing because i see enough on local rides...

Saunier Duval annoys me- all those yellows jerseys are confusing and make it hard to spot the real maillot jaune

Wow. Are those photoshopped? Or do they really look like that? If so, then they are the greatest shoes ever.

+1 and I even ride a Scott bike so I wish I liked it, but its Quickstep for me. Boonen's green quikstep is really nice too.

What's the deal with the organizers allowing Saunier Duval to wear a jersey that's almost exactly the same color as the maillot jaune. I thought that in years past, they required teams that normally wear yellow to have an alternate color. Didn't ONCE wear pink for the Tour?

Before Disco vomited green all over their jersey, it was pretty nice.

I like the retro Milram jerseys (even though there's about 5 too many light blue kits on the tour).

My most recent favorite was the Illes Balearas jersey from 2 years ago.

I thought the old Astana to be really cool. Sort of a traditionalist. I stick with Credit Agricole jersey and the CSC. For overall kit, I like CSC.

csc. although from recent times i kinda liked the blue/white simplicity of fassa bortolo.
further back, all time, i would say carrera with the unique denim effect shorts.

I wondered that, too. Because of the abysmal broadcast quality of VS, when I see Iban Mayo i think its Rasmussen (or whoever in the MJ)
