I have PI ultrasensor bibs with a Fiziks Aliante saddle and I have never felt any discomfort after 1500 miles on both. I don't even bother with saddle cream. When the only thing that doesnt hurt after a century is my butt, I think I'll stick with what works.

+1 on the shorts, not good to me too, but +1 on the pic, I dont see how this relates at all... unless OP has been wearing woman's undies and talks from experience.

The PI attacks work fine for me but the Ultrasensors were uncomfortable. Go figure.

Okay, I think reading comprehension is in order. First, he got a small, had the issue. Next he got a medium, had the same issue. Clearly it is something about the shorts that he's having an issue with. He discovered it was in-line with the chamois and posted the pic (although I can't see it) to indicate exactly where the issue was arising as best he could.
Was the pic necessary? Probably not as he also indicated it was at the edge of the chamois, which most of the cycling community can figure out its location.
To the OP- I haven't tried the PI's but was interested based on the reviews I've seen here, so it's good to see another side. I've used LG (Louis Garneau) with the Ergo Zone and liked them. Probably the best I've tried so far. But, full disclosure here, my experience is not vast and they are also the most I’ve spent on bibs to date.

I've been using PI Ultrasensors for years with no problem- currently rotate 3 pairs and am perfectly happy. On the other hand, thought I'd upgrade to the Microsensors but don't like them at all- seem significantly tighter. Just like saddles, they can be a costly trial and error process to see what works best for you.

Never been a PI fan, but everyones crotch is different so WWFOMNWFY..... I just got my santinis in I ordered with the gel chamois very comfy shorts. I bought them mainly to ride the P3C in because of position and that gel makes sitting in the aero bars for 50 miles like butta.

I've got 4 pairs of 2006 PI Ultrasensors, great up to 3 hours, after that, do start to need chamois butter. The 2005 and 2006 Attacks did differ when it came to sizing. Also have a pair of Castelli 2006 KISS shorts, better than the Attacks, but not as good as the Ultrasensors. The finishing of the Castellis around the legs not as good as the Ultras, I'd say the KISSes also use lycra similar to the Attacks, it puckers. The Ultras have not, they clearly use a stronger lycra on the leg. Also, if it helps anyone searching, I ride a Specialized Avatar 143.
