I love my wife because...
...she just told me that she ordered the bladed American Classic 420's that I'd been eyein' up...
Superficial? ? ? Yes, but it's true love none the less...
How good does it get? ? ?
Should be in and on my bike by mid next week.
I can't get enough of this woman

congrats, my wife just did the same thing while I was drooling over a new bike (07 tarmac expert). She asked me if I really liked it and if it was a good deal. Then she turned to the salesman and said if you give me 20% off I'll buy it, he replied I'll give you 10% and no sales tax...she said, sold! I was speechless, still haven't wiped off that smile for days now!
congrats again,
john

Nice. Mrs. Caloso bought me a set of Ksyrium SL3s for my birthday. (And she turned a blind eye to the mysterious bike box that arrived from Holland a few weeks ago)
I'm a lucky guy.

I love my wife, but I wouldn't in a million years expect something like that to happen to me. Hell, I had to justify buying new tires... Which, btw, I decided not to buy anyways (of my own free will, I swear it!)

... you are lucky man! Hang on to her!
I'm in the same situation... Have been lusting over a Colnago forever and finally saw one in the color I wanted. She said "buy it". Than I needed some components and she said "Record. Anything else wouldn't do the bike justice". After I built it up with everything and my Ksyrium ES wheels which I already had, she said "those wheels don't match this bike... they looked much better on your other bike... Buy new ones". Ended up with HED Jet 50 with the blue stickers... matches the Colnago ST05 perfect...
She's a cyclist as well and I spoil her just as much as she spoils me... She has 6 bikes...
