Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Even if you buy 10 for $10, it's $10 going to the cause, isn't that most of the reason for buying/wearing one?

10 bucks for 10. hardly enough to cure cancer. I have not had mine off of my wrist in over two years for more than 20 minutes at a time. No signs of wear yet. what happened. Have had four victims of cancer in our family. Buying a hundred might be in order.

See if you can find a Discovery store in a local mall. That's where I last purchased mine.

I have 10 of them...if you have paypal shoot me (jhfarr73 'at' yahoo.com) whatever you want to pay for it and shipping and I will get it out as soon as I have your address. Or click the link in my sig and make a donation to my Livestrong ride and PM me your address and I will send one right out.

Anyone that wants to support the cause please support my ride...link in sig goes to my Livestrong ride with the money going to the LAF.

Thanks for the donation...it is a nice ride and since my mother's current husband is an avid cyclist as well (and just lost his father to cancer recently) we do the ride together (they live in Austin).

They apparently have changed the ride route this year (this will be my 4th) and added some climbing...I am not sure how I feel about that. LOL

The more climbing the better, that will let you enjoy it that much longer. Oh, and you are very welcome for the donation. Hopefully that will get the ball rolling a bit.

Um...doesn't that kind of defeat the purpose...to pay someone else for their bracelet? I know you paid for one already, but buying one from someone else means money isn't going to Livestrong.

It does if they then send the money to the LAF.

Well, that would explain why I couldn't find a "Store Locator" link on their website...

Just in case I wasn't clear (and I think I wasn't)...if the OP (or anyone else) wants a Livestrong bracelet I have 10 of them...that I bought at the Livestrong ride last year so no one other than the LAF made any money on that purchase...and any money I receive will go to the LAF (even the paypal funds).

My bad. That sounds like a good Happy Valley sort of attitude.
