The Zipps are on.....
I got a chance to ride the new wheels and so far they are great. I was comtemplating on getting the tubulars but decided to get the clinchers instead since I'm going to be using them mostly on the street and I did not feel comfortable with the issues of dealing with the gluing process.

Thinking the same thing. Looks like the bars should be tilted "up" and to keep the reach to the hoods the same, move them towards the apex of the curved part of the bar. Never used a bar shaped like that before. Must take a while to find the right tilt that is comfortable?

you can but it's more of a hassle, if you get a flat you have to replace the tire/tube or hope that tire sealant works. Tires cost twice as much as a regular clincher tire as well. With a clincher tire you can pack 2 tubes if you are going on a long ride and you dont have to worry about ending the ride and going home and hoping you dont get another flat.
On the upside tubulars are noticeably lighter. I believe my bike weighed a pound less if not more. The ride was more refined a lot smoother.

Do these make that awesome "whirrrrrrrrrrrrr" noise the other Zipp wheels make? What IS that noise, anyway? Ceramic bearings or something?
