Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Experience with Niterider Repair Service anyone?

My storm HID got busted from a low speed fall. I just sent my unit to San Diego for repair but so far it's been more than a week, and I have not heard back from them. What's the turn around time for repair at Niterider?

The cord that goes into the headlamp is disconnected so I think it is a simple fix. I would appreciate feedback from people's experience with Niterider's repair service. Thanks.

Although I've never mailed something to them, I've had positive experiences with their "in field" tech guys at the 24 hours of Moab. I think you'll be ok...I would imagine with the sheer number of lights they have sold over the years, you may be in a bit of a line for service is all. If you have a service repair number of sorts, don't be afraid to give them a call or an email to see what the status is.

Give them a call. I sent in a battery with a wire that had pulled out, the next thing I know there was a new battery on my front porch.
