Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Time Shoes?

Need some shoes to go with my Keo Sprints, and Nashbar has Time RXPs on a killer sale. For once, they actually have my size too (larger than 37 but smaller than 55). A search only found that one real comment, someone saynig the RSXs "suck" but not going into detail. Anyone have anything to share on these? Any other shoe recommendations in the sub $100 price range ($75 would be really nice)?

Shoe sizing (or should I say shape) is different from one brand to another. I would recommend you don't buy shoes online - especially if they're your first pair.

Ehhh, threw some Adidas in with an order I was already placing. US sizes, so I think I have good odds of success. If not, I'll just send them back. UPS Ground is what, $8?

For any entry level shoe you should also have a look at the Shimano SH-R085.
Its slightly better specified than the Time RXP and is around $100.

I was a HUGE Time fan in the past. I only swapped my Time and Carnac shoes when the new BG carbon stuff came out from Specialized. Thus, I haven't tried them in some time. I'm ordering a pair of these and checking them out.
